A 12-step program focusing on self-esteem is the foundation for the therapeutic residential program. Aside from outdoor activities, individual and group counseling along with communication sessions are also provided. The teenager’s family is also active in the process of treatment as they are contacted to enforce healthy living. Outdoor activities include: backpacking, canoeing, fishing, camping, hiking, river rafting, softball, volleyball, movies, and horseback riding.
