Residential/Wilderness Program

Red top Meadows Treatment Center (RTM) provides a therapeutic wilderness program for teenage boys from ages 12-17. The center is a 14-bed, Residential facility which has been operating from 1980 until the present.

Outdoor Program
This adventurous program is specifically geared towards pre-teens/teenagers/young adults with LD or ADD. Focus is given to the enhancement of an individual’s problem-solving skills, social skills, self-confidence, goal orientation, and in improving self-motivation.

Outdoor Treatment Program

This is a licensed wilderness/outdoor treatment program which comprises of both an academic and residential division for teenagers age 13-17. A conventional setting is used for the program’s structure and reintegration of the teen.

Outdoor Intervention
"A Fresh Start." This21-day outdoor intervention program has weekly and yearly trips for teenagers age 13-18 (co-ed). It caters to those teens that particularly have behavioral or academic problems and need a certain amount of motivation.

Therapeutic Residential Program
Turnaround Ranch for boys from age 13-17 years old provides guidance for those struggling with behavioral and emotional issues. A 12-step program focusing on self-esteem is the foundation for the therapeutic residential program. Aside from outdoor activities, individual and group counseling along with communication sessions are also provided. The teenager’s family is also active in the process of treatment as they are contacted to enforce healthy living. Outdoor activities include: backpacking, canoeing, fishing, camping, hiking, river rafting, softball, volleyball, movies, and horseback riding.
